All the block prints from The Arts &
Crafts Press are
letterpress printed
using hand-cut blocks, handmade paper, or machine-made papers. Each
block print is printed on acid-free paper and comes matted ready
for framing. All prints are designed and hand printed by Yoshiko
Yamamoto.
Letterpress printing the block prints
allows us to achieve a heavy impression on the design, thus creating
a three-dimensional quality to the surface. Often we print using
hand-cut woodblocks or linoleum blocks.
